Southwestern Sumner County in south central Kansas... * Until 1215 AM CST. * At 1127 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles west of Caldwell, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Harper and southwestern Sumner Counties, including the following locations... Bluff City, Perth, and Milan.
