Sutton County in west central Texas... * Until 200 AM CDT. * At 1052 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sonora, The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2596 And Ranch Road 864, The Intersection Of Us-277 And Ranch Road 189, Us-277 Near The Sutton-Edwards County Line, The Intersection Of I-10 And Ranch Road 1989, I-10 Near The Sutton-Kimble County Line and I-10 Near The Crockett-Sutton County Line.
