Central Butler County in west central Pennsylvania...
East Central Lawrence County in western Pennsylvania...
* Until 600 PM EDT.
* At 532 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles southwest of Slippery Rock, or 10 miles east of
New Castle, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Shanor-Northvue, Chicora, Bruin, West Liberty, Harlansburg,
Petrolia, Karns City, Fairview, West Sunbury, Hooker, Moraine State
Park, Cooper's Lake Campground, McConnells Mill and Rose Point
Park.
Instruction:
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
