Douglas County in east central Kansas... * Until 1230 AM CDT. * At 1206 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 4 miles northwest of Globe, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Lawrence, Eudora, Richland, Perry, Lecompton, Clinton, Lone Star, Pleasant Grove, Vinland, Williamstown, Perry Lake, Clinton Lake, Globe, and Berryton. This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 184 and 205.
