Southern Saline County in central Kansas... * Until 1030 PM CDT. * At 926 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lindsborg, moving southeast at 40 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR southern Saline, McPherson, and northwest Marion counties. . HAZARD...100 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...A 113 mph wind gust was measured at the Salina Airport. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be destroyed. Expect considerable damage to homes and businesses. Expect extensive tree damage and power outages. * Locations impacted include... Salina, Mcpherson, Lindsborg, Moundridge, Galva, Canton, Marquette, Assaria, Gypsum, Smolan, Lehigh, Tampa, Durham, Falun, Mcpherson Airport, Roxbury, Bridgeport, Pilsen, and Marion Lake.
