* At 600 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located 6
miles northeast of Essex, or 8 miles south of Red Oak, moving east
at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
