Southwestern Green County in south central Wisconsin...
* Until 200 PM CDT.
* At 1238 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Earlville to near La Motte to Albany, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Monroe, Darlington, Shullsburg, Belmont, Benton, Argyle,
Blanchardville, Apple River, Wiota, New Diggings, South Wayne, Elk
Grove, Fayette, Lamont, Browntown, Gratiot, Platte Mounds,
Calamine, Lead Mine, and Jordan Center.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
