Eastern Eau Claire County in west central Wisconsin...
* Until 630 AM CDT.
* At 551 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Augusta, or
21 miles southeast of Eau Claire, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Foster, Augusta, Lake Eau Claire County Park, Fairchild and
Ludington.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
