Description:
At 1013 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Glenville to 6 miles southeast of Addison
(Webster Springs). Movement was east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Buckhannon, Weston, Glenville, Sutton, Grantsville, Webster Springs,
Cass Scenic Railroad, Gassaway, Addison (Webster Springs), Jackson
Mill, Snowshoe, Holly River State Park, Cedar Creek State Park,
Stonewall Jackson, Rock Cave, Mingo, Burnsville, Lost Creek, Jane
Lew, and Flatwoods.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 51 and 109.
Route 19 between mile markers 64 and 68.
Route 33 between mile markers 1 and 16.
