At 1221 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Elkview, or 7 miles northeast of Charleston, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Charleston, Sissonville, Clendenin, Pinch, Elkview, and Coal Fork. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 24. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 96 and 97, and between mile markers 103 and 111.
