At 358 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Culloden to Ranger to near Hode. Movement was east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Charleston, Nitro, Madison, Hamlin, Jefferson, South Charleston, St. Albans, Dunbar, Hurricane, Chapmanville, Ranger, Hode, Spurlockville, Institute, Tornado, Harts, Cross Lanes, Gill, Alum Creek, and Julian. This includes the following highways... Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 32 and 34, and between mile markers 45 and 55. Route 119 between mile markers 32 and 43, and between mile markers 48 and 77.
