* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...West Central Barbour County in northeastern West
Virginia...
Northwestern Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia...
Southern Harrison County in northern West Virginia...
Northeastern Lewis County in northern West Virginia...
* WHEN...Until 630 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 113 AM EDT, emergency management reported high water across
portions of the area from prior heavy rainfall. Flooding is
already occurring. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Clarksburg, Bridgeport, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Anmoore, West
Milford, Lost Creek, Jane Lew and Despard.
- This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 104 and 120. Route 50 in West
Virginia between mile markers 76 and 82.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
