FFWRLX The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Putnam County in western West Virginia... * Until noon EDT. * At 856 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of up to 0.50 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Hurricane, Poca and Teays Valley. This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 33 and 44.
