North Central Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Calhoun County in north central West Virginia... Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... Barbour County in northeastern West Virginia... North Central Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... Northern Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Harrison County in northern West Virginia... Lewis County in northern West Virginia... Southeastern Taylor County in northern West Virginia... * Until 145 PM EDT. * At 1106 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Buckhannon, Weston, Philippi, Glenville, Grantsville, Audra State Park, Belington, Stonewall Jackson, Jackson Mill, Cedar Creek State Park, Arnoldsburg, Burnsville, Lost Creek, Jane Lew, Sand Fork, Montrose, Camden, Horner, Sand Run and Alum Bridge. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 79 and 113. Route 33 between mile markers 1 and 7...and between mile markers 15 and 17.
