...The National Weather Service in Spokane WA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Washington...
Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County.
.Warm temperatures will melt snowpack and increase river flows.
For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin.
* WHEN...From this evening to late Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Water inundates some properties and
overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road
inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek Colverts are beginning
to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM PDT Thursday the stage was 20.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet.
- Forecast...The gauge for Stehekin River indicates that it is
just below Minor Flood Stage. By early tomorrow morning,
Friday, April 10, it will rise above Minor Flood Stage and
remain there through early Tuesday morning, April 17. It is
projected to crest at 20.8 feet midday Sunday, April 12.
- Flood stage is 20.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
22.5 feet on 05/12/2019.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
