At 442 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Scotland to near Zuni to near Claresville. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Newport News, Courtland, Isle Of Wight, Zuni, and Sedley around 445 PM EDT. Franklin, Smithfield, Windsor, Hunterdale, Fort Eustis, and Lee Hall around 450 PM EDT. Patrick Henry Field, Suffolk, Rescue, and Denbigh around 455 PM EDT. Hampton, Christopher Newport University, Tabb, Beaconsdale, and Carrsville around 500 PM EDT. Holland, Northampton, Driver, Kings Fork, and Crittenden around 505 PM EDT. Langley AFB, Chesapeake, and Portsmouth around 510 PM EDT. Hampton University, Downtown Suffolk, Churchland, Norfolk, Grand View, Bowers Hill, Fort Monroe, Buckroe Beach, and Western Branch around 515 PM EDT. Old Dominion University, Norfolk NAS, and Ghent around 520 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Vicksville, South Norfolk, Pons, Carrollton, Portlock, Lackey, Chippokes State Park, Longview, Oriana, and Huntersville.
