At 307 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Chesterfield Court House to near Wilsons to Lunenburg. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Kenbridge, Chester, Fort Barfoot, Sutherland, Bellwood, and Chesterfield Court House around 315 PM EDT. Dinwiddie, Colonial Heights, Ettrick, Dundas, Matoaca, and Dewitt around 320 PM EDT. Petersburg, Hopewell, McKenney, Fort Gregg-Adams, and Virginia State University around 325 PM EDT. Prince George, Alberta, and Jordans Point around 335 PM EDT. Carson around 340 PM EDT. Garysville around 345 PM EDT. Disputanta around 350 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Bacons Fork, North Wellville, Arvins Store, Wayside, Dolphin, Ammon, Murdocks, Nutbush, Wharfs Store, and Pocahontas State Park.
