Description:
At 1232 AM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located 9 miles
west of Byrdstown, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Cartwright, Snow, Cumberland City, Savage, Highway, Ida, Marlow,
Green Grove, Rolan, and Seventy Six.
Instruction:
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the

floor of a building.
