Description:
At 329 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Talty, or near Forney, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
This strong thunderstorm will be near...
Terrell and Talty around 335 AM CDT.
New Terrell City Lake around 345 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include Elmo, Heartland, Oak
Ridge, Post Oak Bend City, Lawrence, and McLendon-Chisholm.
This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 482 and 511.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
