Description: 
At 304 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near New Terrell City Lake, or near Terrell, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... New Terrell City Lake around 310 AM CDT. Lake Tawakoni around 315 AM CDT. Quinlan, Hawk Cove, and Lake Tawakoni State Park around 320 AM CDT. West Tawakoni around 325 AM CDT. East Tawakoni around 330 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Alsa, Lawrence, Elmo, Cash, Union Valley, Lone Oak, Flats, Post Oak Bend City, Center Point, and Hermits Cove.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
