Description: 
At 252 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Waxahachie, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Ennis and Palmer around 255 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Reagor Springs, Ike, Telico, Rockett, India, Crisp, Bristol, Garrett, Trumbull, and Boyce. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35E between mile markers 393 and 413. Interstate 45 between mile markers 246 and 271.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
