Description:
At 1147 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms near Quitman, or 13 miles southwest of Winnsboro,
moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mineola, Winnsboro, Quitman, Pleasant Grove, Scroggins, Golden,
Newsome, Perryville and Cypress.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
