Description: 
At 1048 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Big Country Baptist Assembly, or 7 miles southeast of Lueders, moving north at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Haskell, Stamford, Throckmorton, Lueders, Nugent, Irby, Lake Stamford Marina, Paint Creek, The Intersection Of Us-183 And Us- 283, The Intersection Of Us- 380 And Highway 222, and Big Country Baptist Assembly.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
