Description: 
At 1012 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Water Valley to Knickerbocker to 6 miles southwest of The Intersection Of Us- 190 And Ranch Road 1828. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... San Angelo, Sonora, Eldorado, Mertzon, Christoval, Maverick, Bronte, Miles, Wall, Grape Creek, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Veribest, Knickerbocker, Arden, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, Lake Nasworthy, Tankersley, Orient, San Angelo State Park, and Twin Buttes Reservoir. This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 373 and 402.
Instruction: 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
