Description:
At 319 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 19
miles southeast of Balmorhea Lake, or 26 miles northeast of Fort
Davis, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Pecos,
northern Brewster, south central Reeves and east central Jeff Davis
Counties.
This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 221 and 226.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
