Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall remains possible over
the next several days
* WHERE...All of South Texas
* WHEN...Through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periods of rain, at times heavy, will continue through the week
and into the upcoming weekend. Fairly widespread totals of 2 to 4
inches can be expected with localized totals of up to 6 inches
through Monday. These values could exceed flash flood guidance
particularly over areas that have already received heavy rainfall
over the last few days.
