The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Bexar County in south central Texas...
Southwestern Guadalupe County in south central Texas...
* Until 300 PM CDT.
* At 1123 AM CDT, Additional rounds of thunderstorms are expected
this afternoon producing heavy rain across the warned area
resulting in flash flooding. The Department of Transportation
continues to report over 30 flooded roadways across the warned
area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is
already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

San Antonio, New Braunfels, Schertz, Seguin, Cibolo, Converse,
Universal City, Live Oak, Selma, San Antonio Int Airport, Randolph
AFB, Stinson Municipal Airport, Leon Valley, Helotes, Kirby, Alamo
Heights, Windcrest, Terrell Hills, Shavano Park and Hollywood Park.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
