The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northeastern Tarrant County in north central Texas...
* Until 430 AM CDT.
* At 1225 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
forecast. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.

Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Euless, Bedford,
Grapevine, Haltom City, Keller, Hurst, Colleyville, Richland
Hills, Kennedale, North Richland Hills, Pantego, DFW Intl Airport,
Dalworthington Gardens and Lake Arlington.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
