Southeastern San Saba County in west central Texas... * Until 500 AM CDT. * At 140 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rainfall has ended across San Saba County. However, the rainfall of 4 to 6 inches that fell during the evening and early morning hours continues to produce flooding across the area. Cherokee Creek has continued to climb, with multiple roads flooded and impassable, including Highway 16, Ranch Road 501, and several county roads. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
