At 342 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Walnut Hill, or near Bristol Tn, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Johnson City, Bristol Tn, Walnut Hill, Bluff City, Watauga, Hunter, Rocky Mount State Park, Morril's Cave, and Blountville.
