Description:
At 729 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles northeast of Parsons, or 14 miles northwest of Linden, moving
southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Linden, Lobelville, Flatwoods, Kimmins, Mousetail Landing State Park,
and Pleasantville.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 136 and 138.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
