At 904 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles east of Sparta, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Crossville, Fairfield Glade, Monterey, Crab Orchard, Pleasant Hill, Lake Tansi, Cumberland Mountain State Park, Slate Springs, Fall Creek Falls State Park, Indian Rock Lake, and Virgin Falls State Natural Area. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 297 and 340.
