* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following county, Blount. * WHEN...Until 130 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1216 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Maryville, Happy Valley, Cades Cove, Clover Hill and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
