* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following county, Shelby. * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 859 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bartlett, Memphis, Midtown Memphis, Frayser, Downtown Memphis, Ellendale, Southwest Memphis, Raleigh, Elmore Park and Spring Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
