Description:
At 820 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Darien to near Capron. Movement was east
at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kenosha, Racine, Mount Pleasant, Muskego, Pleasant Prairie, Antioch,
Elkhorn, Delavan, Lake Geneva, Sturtevant, Union Grove, East Troy,
Paddock Lake, Williams Bay, Camp Lake, Wind Lake, Franklin, Winthrop
Harbor, Twin Lakes, and Spring Grove.
This includes the following highways...
U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 320 and 338.
Interstate 43 between mile markers 12 and 38.
Interstate 41/94 between mile markers 325 and 349.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central and southeastern Wisconsin.
