Description:
At 532 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Palito Blanco, or 12 miles south of Alice, moving southeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Alice, Ben Bolt, Alice Acres, and Palito Blanco.
This includes US Highway 281 between mile markers 672 and 696.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
