Description:
At 1135 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles north of Prairie View to 8 miles north
of San Felipe to 7 miles northeast of Eagle Lake. Movement was east
at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sealy, Hempstead, Prairie View, Brookshire, Hockley, Waller, Pine
Island, San Felipe, Pattison, and Monaville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for southeastern
Texas.
