Description:
At 651 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Vick, or 10 miles southeast of Vancourt, moving east
at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Schleicher, southeastern Tom Green, northern Menard and Concho
Counties, including the following locations... Us-83 Near The Menard-
Concho County Line, The Intersection Of Us-
87 And Ranch Road 2134, Vick, The Intersection Of Us-
83 And Ranch Road 765, and Live Oak.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for west central
Texas.
