At 522 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Tankersley, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... San Angelo, Mertzon, Christoval, Miles, Orient, Wall, San Angelo State Park, Twin Buttes Reservoir, Sherwood, Grape Creek, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Carlsbad, Mereta, Veribest, Knickerbocker, Arden, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, Lake Nasworthy, Tankersley, and Tennyson.
