Description:
At 331 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Terrell County Gas Plant, or 20 miles south of Sheffield, moving
north at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sheffield, Terrell County Gas Plant, Iraan, and Iraan Municipal
Airport.
This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 314 and 327.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
