Description:
At 820 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles south of Gilson Groves, or 26 miles west of Encinal, moving
northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Las Tiendas, Chupadera Ranch Airport, Columbia Bridge, and La
Esperanza Ranch Airport.
This includes US Highway 83 between mile markers 668 and 682.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
