Description: 
At 310 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Fannett, or 8 miles northeast of Hamshire, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Beaumont, Port Arthur, Nederland, Groves, Port Neches, Vidor, Central Gardens, Rose City, Fannett, La Belle, Port Acres, and Southeast Texas Regional Airport. This includes Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 865 and 836.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
