Description:
At 825 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Annarose, or 13 miles south of George West, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mount Lucas, Annarose, and Lagarto.
This includes US Highway 281 between mile markers 642 and 650.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CST for
south central Texas.
