Description:
At 547 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hollywood Park, or 7 miles north of San Antonio Int Airport, moving
east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, New Braunfels, Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City, Live
Oak, Selma, San Antonio Int Airport, Canyon Lake, Bulverde, Garden
Ridge, Hollywood Park, Marion, Santa Clara, Timberwood Park, Hill
Country Village, Bracken, and Solms.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CST for
south central Texas.
