At 529 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Cedar Creek, or 11 miles southwest of Bastrop, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Bastrop, Smithville, Circle D-KC Estates, Camp Swift, Cedar Creek, Wyldwood, Upton, Phelan, Bastrop State Park, Hills Prairie, Rockne, Watterson, Alum Creek, Red Rock, Buescher State Park, and Bateman.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CST for south central Texas.
