Description:
At 832 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Pigeon Forge, or 10 miles southwest of Sevierville,
moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Sevierville, Newport, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Pittman Center, Bird
Crossing, Fairgarden, Wears Valley, Chestnut Hill, and Cosby.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
