At 644 PM EDT/544 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Spring City to 6 miles south of Dunlap. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Dayton, Decatur, Soddy-Daisy, Fairview, Spring City, Graysville, Flat Top Mountain, Peakland, Eagle Furnace, and Stinging Fork Falls State Park.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
