Description:
At 522 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Crossville, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Crossville, Fairfield Glade, Crab Orchard, Pleasant Hill, Lake Tansi,
Cumberland Mountain State Park, Slate Springs, and Indian Rock Lake.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 305 and 340.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
