Description:
At 454 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Greenville Downtown to 8
miles east of Anderson. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Greenville Downtown, Greenville Eastside, West Greenville, Greer,
Mauldin, Taylors, Simpsonville, Berea, Five Forks, and Fountain Inn.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM EDT for
Upstate South Carolina.
