Description:
At 1111 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Chesterfield to 6 miles east of
Cassatt to Mulberry. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Sumter, Cheraw, Bishopville, Chesterfield, Cheraw State Park,
Northeastern Technical College, Cassatt, Elliott, Cheraw Municipal
Airport, Mulberry, Lee State Park, Carolina Sandhills Wildlife
Refuge, Sumter County Airport, Mcbee, Mayesville, Society Hill,
Lynchburg, Ruby, Patrick, and Bethune.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 106 and 125.
Interstate 95 near mile marker 146.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM EDT for central South
Carolina.
